Installation and adjustment detection of OPTIFLO headbox

On this high-speed paper machine with a working speed of 1800m/min, the headbox, as the "heart" of the paper machine, is the key to determine the quality of the whole paper machine

the optimized OPTIFLO headbox is composed of square cone slurry inlet header, tube bundle, slurry distributor, equalizing chamber, turbulence generator and white water dilution system. The structure is shown in Figure 1. The average flow rate of the slurry in this headbox is 1188l/s, the minimum flow rate is 891l/s, the maximum flow rate is 1366l/s, the width of the spray outlet is 5940mm, the adjustment area of the lip plate is 8 ~ 18mm in the running state, and the opening of the lip plate is 8 ~ 80mm in the cleaning state. The tilt of headbox is adjusted by ± 6mm, and the maximum flow of return pipe is 10%. This headbox has the structure and function of the traditional convergent flow type. The difference is that the dilution water is used to adjust the horizontal quantitative distribution of the paper web, so as to avoid the flow velocity disorder and fiber orientation difference caused by the traditional adjustment of the quantitative distribution by changing the nozzle size. According to the structural characteristics and process requirements of this OPTIFLO headbox, we have formulated a thorough construction scheme, which is installed and adjusted in three steps

the first step of optimization is the installation and adjustment of headbox foundation plate. When the foundation plate is in place according to the technical requirements of the drawing, measure the six points of each foundation plate with a level gauge to check its levelness. Adjust while measuring. Do this before and after grouting until the installation standard of the headbox foundation plate is reached, that is, the maximum horizontal deviation between the foundation plates on the same plane is 0.1mm. On different planes, the maximum vertical deviation between the foundation plates is 0.2mm. Then record these results and data on the inspection report of headbox foundation measurement, and ask the foreign party to check, accept and sign

the second step of optimization is the installation of headbox body, special alloy materials for high-end equipment and adjustment. After the headbox main body is in place, measure three positions, i.e. a, B and C, with a level and theodolite respectively according to the headbox installation and positioning drawing (drawing No. rau.01) in the drawing. First, take the FS on the operation side as the benchmark, measure the horizontal deviation and vertical deviation of the BS on the transmission side at positions a, B and C, and adjust while measuring, so that the deviation between the actual installation size of the headbox body at three points and the size given in the drawing on the transmission side and operation side is within 0 ~ 0.4mm. Then use the goniometer to measure the inclination angle of position D and adjust it to 64 ° standard. After inspection by the foreign party, fill in the headbox installation and positioning dimension inspection report and sign it. (see also figure 1)

optimization the third step is the installation and adjustment of the key components of the headbox, namely the upper and lower lip plates. First, according to the technical requirements of the drawing, make the elevation of the upper lip meet the requirements, and then make the elevation of the lower lip between the chest roll and the forming roll meet the requirements, and the parallelism of the upper lip and the lower lip should also meet the requirements. Because the flow of the headbox is a function of the opening of the weir plate, the vehicle speed and the ratio of slurry speed, increasing the opening of the weir plate will increase the slurry flow, and the opening of the lip will affect the tear index to some extent, so adjusting the opening of the lip of the upper weir plate is very critical. The lip opening of the upper weir plate of this headbox is controlled by 59 evenly distributed on the width of the banner. The spacing is that when changing the jaw, the power supply of the oil pump electromechanical should be cut off first. The micro adjustment rod of 101.6mm is used to control the adjustment amount. The dial indicator shows that the upper lip plate can be adjusted back and forth relative to the lower lip plate during operation, so as to achieve the best injection angle and forming quality. Therefore, the flatness of these 59 adjusting rods on the banner is very important. Therefore, we measure and adjust the levelness of these 59 adjusting rods one by one until it meets its technical requirements, that is, the maximum horizontal deviation between each rod is ± 0.005mm, and we must ensure that the maximum adjustment between its two adjacent adjusting rods is 0.2mm

optimization is followed by the installation and adjustment of the lower lip. According to the three points, 16 points, 30 points, 43 points and 57 points of the 59 adjusting rods of the upper lip, divide the lower lip into corresponding five points, i.e. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 points, and then measure the levelness of the lower lip at its five points. For the first measurement, the deviation between 2 points and 5 points is 0.5mm. If it does not meet the

standard, readjust it, and use a small scale, then measure it to reduce it to 0.3mm, and then adjust it back and forth for 6 times until it reaches the technical standard that the maximum horizontal deviation of the lower lip is 0.2mm. Then adjust and measure the injection angle of these five points to 64 ° (see Table 1)
